Welcome to Alke Rentals. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. These terms apply to all users, property managers, and visitors across Zambia, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Sudan, and other countries in which we operate.

1. Use of Platform

Alke Rentals provides a platform to connect renters with property owners for short-term and long-term rentals.
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or list a property.

2. Account Registration

Users and property managers must provide accurate and complete information when creating accounts.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Any activity under your account is your responsibility.

3. Property Listings

Property managers must provide accurate, truthful, and verified information for each listing.
Alke Rentals reserves the right to remove, edit, or reject listings that do not meet our standards.
Images, descriptions, and amenities must represent the property honestly.

4. Bookings and Payments

All bookings and payments are facilitated through the platform unless otherwise agreed.
Alke Rentals may charge a commission or service fee per successful booking.
Users and property managers must comply with local tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.

5. User Conduct

Users must not engage in harassment, fraudulent activities, or misuse of the platform.
Property managers must maintain professional conduct, ensure safety, and respond promptly to inquiries and bookings.
Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including logos, text, images, and software, is owned by Alke Rentals or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Alke Rentals is not responsible for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from use of the platform, property listings, bookings, or interactions between users and property managers. Use the platform at your own risk.

8. Privacy

Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.

9. Termination

Alke Rentals reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts or access to the platform for violation of these terms or for any reason at our discretion.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes arising from use of the platform will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Uganda, unless otherwise required by local regulations in other operating countries.

11. Changes to Terms

Alke Rentals may update these terms periodically. Updated terms will be posted on this page with the revision date, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
